Always position the clippers to leave a 1 mm wide margin of white nail. The combination of the handle’s lever action and the very sharp blades ensures a clean cut. These nail clippers are made of martensitic steel, which enables the blades to be hardened to a high degree. Martensitic steel is also acid-proof and rust-resistant. By glass blasting the surface and elaborately grinding the cutting blades we successfully close the steel’s pores as far as technically possible and reduce corrosion susceptibility to a minimum. We deliberately avoid nickel or chrome plating our implements to rule out any risk of allergic reactions.
