At the Ritarihuone, there is an experiential exhibition taking place from April 14 to April 23, where you can also admire Cigale & Fourmi's beautiful pots. The exhibition offers an excellent opportunity to see how pots can beautifully complement the garden environment and be inspired on how to use pots in your own garden and backyard. For this event, 70 pots have been selected from Cigale & Fourmi, and each of them will be available for purchase at the end of the exhibition. The exhibition is a splendid way to kickstart the gardening season, find the pots of your dreams for your own yard, explore the history of manor gardens, and do some good, as the proceeds from the exhibition tickets will be donated to charity.
The exhibition "Among Roses and Well-Kept Paths – Manor Parks and Gardens" is organized by the assistance organization of the Nobility Association and offers an experiential and comprehensive experience for the viewers. Gardens are a natural choice for the theme since they provide an intriguing framework for the exhibition. Additionally, noble families have played a significant role in introducing aesthetic garden culture to Finland.
For exhibition visitors, a comprehensive experience is guaranteed, as an indoor garden bursting with greenery is being created in Ritarihuone's 464-square-meter banquet hall with the assistance of green interior designers and collaborators. In the space, four complementary themes can be observed: life in parks, the gardener's tasks, the winter garden, and the utility, herb, and rose garden. The exhibition promises to be an experiential and entirely unique viewing experience.
"I don't believe such an exhibition has ever been organized in Finland before – the exhibition is so much more than paintings and objects. The potential of the space is fully utilized to create a visual experience, where you can walk around and experience the atmosphere of a historical manor garden spanning centuries in an authentic and unique way," describes the exhibition's principal figure, Anna Ehrnrooth, Vice Chairman of the Assistance Organization of the Nobility Association Ry and a gardener.
Cigale & Fourmi's pots are available for admiration and purchase
Cigale & Fourmi's selection of 70 pots complement and help finalize the look of the exhibition. The exhibition is an excellent opportunity to admire the pots in all their glory. Pots reach their full potential with plants in a garden environment, and therefore, the exhibition helps illustrate the significance of pots in decorating one's own yard and garden.
At the event, you can see pots from brands such as Poggi Ugo, M.I.T.A.L, and Goicoechea. The pots come in various sizes, from small and charming 10 cm tall pots to very impressive one-meter-tall pots. Colors include natural terracotta, elegant bone white, as well as bright colors.
"Cigale & Fourmi was a clear choice as a partner for the exhibition because the company's range of pots is entirely unique. Pots that respect traditional manufacturing methods are durable, practical, and have a valuable appearance. They fit perfectly with the ambiance of the manor environment. Since the exhibition items are also for sale, usability was an important criterion for us when selecting partners," Ehrnrooth emphasizes.

Ritarihuone has been organizing exhibitions since 1990. Visually impressive exhibitions are an interesting way to glimpse into history, but their primary purpose is to raise funds for charity. The beneficiaries are low-income children, young people, and families with children, and the activities support, for example, hobby activities.
