Christmas Ball - Red

These ornaments, Christmas balls, are handmade by craftswomen using the iraca weaving technique, typical of Colombian tradition. The iraca, or toquilla straw, is a natural fiber that comes from the "Carludovica palmata", from whose leaves are obtained some fine threads that are dyed to give them color. Once dry, the artisans interweave the threads with the different colors to create these Christmas balls. Decorate your Christmas tree with these colorful balls. If they fall, they don’t break which makes them ideal for a home with children. It is advisable to use a damp cloth for cleaning. Not washable.
